- Τέλeιωσε το κέλυφος από το κεντρικό σκάφος με τα glass bubbles. Σειρά έχουν τα amas (εκτός προγράμματος) και το κόκπιτ.

- Just finished the shell of the central hull with glass bubbles. Now is the turn of the amas (out of the schedule) and the cockpit.

- Πολύ τρίψιμο σε όλο το σκάφος και τους πλωτήρες προκειμένου να γίνει επίστρωση με φούσκες γυαλιού Glass bubbles. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι πρώτη φορά χρησιμοποιώ αυτό το υλικό σε μίξη εποξικής ρητίνης και είχα κάποιες αμφιβολίες, το αποτέλεσμα όμως είναι φανταστικό. Μοιάζει πολύ με microballoons μόνο που ειναι πιο σκληρό. Στο μείγμα πρόσθεσα και 20% λευκή χρωστική ώστε σε περίπτωση χτυπημάτος, γρατζουνιάς ή ξεφλουδίσματος του χρώματος να μην φαίνεται το χρώμα του ξύλου. Όπως φαίνεται και στις φωτογραφίες έκανα τις μόνο 2 πλευρές του σκάφους, γιατί είχε αρχίσει να νυχτώνει.

- Πολλή εποξική ρητίνη, πολύ κούραση και πολλή ζέστη μέσα στο εργαστήριο. Δύσκολη μέρα η σημερινή αλλά το αποτέλεσμα ήταν καλό. Πιό δύσκολα από ότι περίμενα τα amas στο fiberglassing, λόγω σχήματος. Στο 2ο ama θα ακολουθήσω άλλη τακτική πιο εύκολη.
Στο κεντρικό σκάφος τώρα οι ενώσεις στη γάστρα έχουν 3 στρώσεις fiberglass αφού φρόντισα ώστε να επανωτίζω τις στρώσεις για μεγαλύτερη αντοχή.

- A lot of epoxy resin, very tired and very hot in the lab. Busy day today but the result was good. More difficult than I expected at the amas fiberglassing, because of their shape. In the second ama will follow another tactic easier. The seams of the main hull now have 3 layers of fiberglass, cause of the overlaping i did in every layer of fiberglass.

Πίσω στο εργαστήριο - Back to the lab

- Πέρασαν αρκετές μέρες χωρίς ενημέρωση του blog και πρέπει να επανορθώσω. Καταρχήν τα amas ίσιαξαν επιτέλους !!!!!!!. Επίσης ήρθαν τα υλικά που περίμενα - το ύφασμα fiberglass είναι εκπληκτικό- και επί τη ευκαιρία έκανα και 10 ημερες διακοπές με την οικογένειά μου.
 Γύρισα σήμερα ανανεωμένος και έτοιμος για την τελική φάση των εργασιών. Ξεκίνησα με το fiber glassing του κεντρικού σκάφους το οποίο πήγε θαυμάσια.
Πολύ εύκολος ο εμποτισμός και εύκολη στη χρήση η νέα εποξική με μεγάλη διάρκεια μείγματος.

- It's been several days without updating the blog and must make amends. First the amas are straight at last!!!. Also came the materials I expected - the fiberglass fabric is amazing-and by the way I did 10 days holiday with my family.
I returned today refreshed and ready for the final phase of the work. I started with fiber glassing the side of central board which went wonderfully. Very easy wetting and easy to use with the new -long pot life- epoxy.
