ENDLESS SANDING

Ωδή στο γυαλόχαρτο. Τις τελευταίες μέρες το τρίψιμο είναι απλά ατελείωτο....αμέτρητες ώρες τριψίματος, άπειρα γυαλόχαρτα όλων των διαβαθμίσεων και η τενοντίτιδα είναι πολύ κοντά πλέον.

Στα ευχάριστα νέα της ημέρας, τα μπράτσα (akas) των πλωτήρων ντύθηκαν με carbon fiber, τρίφτηκαν και μετά περάστηκε το πρώτο χέρι εποξικού στόκου (fairing compound).

Τα akas του σκάφους δέχτηκαν τα πρώτα υφάσματα carbon και είναι σε φάση πολυμερισμού. 

Το πηδάλιο που με παίδεψε όσο τίποτε άλλο, είναι στην τελική φάση υλοποίησης. Τρίφτηκε έως το νο 1000 με γυαλόχαρτο νερού, έγιναν οι απαραίτητες διορθώσεις και εκτυπώθηκαν 3D το ράουλο και το γεφυράκι από το σύστημα αναδίπλωσης. 

Η προέκταση της λαγουδέρας που είχα ήταν σχετικά μικρή, οπότε αποφάσισα να την μεγαλώσω αρκετά (σχεδόν διπλάσια). Έφτιαξα καινούρια προέκταση υβριδική από αλουμίνιο και carbon. Το αλουμίνιο ντύθηκε με carbon fiber sleeve (κάλτσα) βαρέως τύπου και έπειτα περάστηκε μέσα σε διάφανο θερμοσυστελλόμενο και μπήκε στο φουρνάκι πολυμερισμού. 

Δυστυχώς οι φωτό είναι μετρημένες λόγω του φόρτου εργασίας, είναι όμως ενδεικτικές του τίτλου....ατελείωτο τρίψιμο.

 Ode on the sandpaper. In the last few days sanding is simply endless ... countless hours of sanding, countless sandpappers of all grits, and tendinitis is now too close.

In the good news of the day, the crossbeams (akas) of the floats were wrapped with carbon fiber, sanded and then applied the first layer of the fairing compound.

The akas of the main hulll received the first carbon cloths and is in the polymerization phase.

The rudder that frustrate me like nothing else is in the final phase of implementation. It was wet sanded up to 1000 grit with water sandpaper, the necessary corrections were made and the retract cord roller and the bridge were 3Dprinted from the kick up system.

The extension of the tiller I had was relatively small, so I decided to make it bigger (in fact almost twice). I made a new extension of aluminum and carbon hybrid. The aluminum was dressed with a heavy-duty carbon fiber sleeve (sock) and then passed through a transparent heat shrink and entered the curing oven.
